Getting Back out There

After spending a month home in Virginia, North Carolina, and Indiana we are back in South America for what we have creatively called “Part 2” of this adventure of ours. While home, we spent a good amount of time moving out of my childhood home which was a physically and emotionally challenging [but healthy] experience. We visited our storage unit in Charlotte, making some major reshuffles to our backpacks, and chilled out in chilly Indiana with Kimberly's family. We also attended two surprise birthday parties--Happy Birthday Kaitlin and Sara! 

Our big news for 2017 is that we have looked at our books, carried the one, have been inspired by new friends met along the way as well as our friends at FlossingintheSunshine, and have decided that we want to keep this journey going. After migrating south to the Patagonia region of Chile and Argentina, we are heading to Southeast Asia! Our new "finish line" is TBD but we know for sure that we won't be missing another Thanksgiving this year in the States. 

Lastly, we are updating our website soon. More stories, more pictures. Just more. We are still trying to find a healthy balance of travel and weekly updates. Our New Year Resolution though? Post more! First up, photos from Ecuador and Peru.
