Each town in Spain has a designated day for their town's market, which typically includes fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and breads as well as clothes and household goods. Kimberly's favorite Spanish market item... fresh figs!
Continuing our 7-year tradition of watching the sun rise on the 4th of July with apple pie. We substituted with a nice Spanish apple pastry and found an old airplane hanger in a small town outside of Madrid to celebrate the morning.
Standing in the demolition hole before pouring a fresh batch of concrete for the new steps of the cave annex. Concrete set in minutes under the heat of the afternoon, so our work was done early in the morning.
